Two American Olympians: 2004 silver medalist Meb Keflezighi and Alan Culpepper, who finished fourth last year, will lead a strong U.S. contingent that includes rising stars Brian Sell and Clint Verran. Sell has a reasonable shot to win this as long as he goes with strategy like he usually does instead of charging to the front like he did in 2004 at the trials
last i talked to him he wants to win that race and be the top guy in america, of course, which i think he can do

this man is like a metronome, you tell him what times to go out at and he will do them even without a watch.

12:29: The six mile split is 29:01 (4:41). 10K is 30:04, 2:07:15 pace. In the pack are Yuda, Keflezighi, Maiyo, Merga, Korir, Cherigat, Culpepper, Negussie, Kiplagat and Kenjiro Jitsui (JPN). Brian Sell is 50m back at 10K.
