excerpt...

Two American Olympians: 2004 silver medalist Meb Keflezighi and Alan Culpepper, who finished fourth last year, will lead a strong U.S. contingent that includes rising stars Brian Sell and Clint Verran. Sell and Verran recently led Team USA to fourth place at the 2005 World Marathon Cup, the highest finish ever for the Americans.

Sell has a reasonable shot to win this as long as he goes with strategy like he usually does instead of charging to the front like he did in 2004 at the trials
last i talked to him he wants to win that race and be the top guy in america, of course, which i think he can do

this man is like a metronome, you tell him what times to go out at and he will do them even without a watch.
lol

But as always good luck to brian
i know he will do well!

2:04: Cheruiyot appears assured of victory. Sell is closing on Culpepper.

2:03: Cheruiyot's 25 mile split is 2:00:49 (5:07). He appears to be laboring, but there is nobody else in sight.

At 25.2, Cheruiyot is at 2:01:55, still on record pace.

2:00: Keflezighi is in third, Culpepper is fourth and Brian Sell fifth.
