The Bucs are going all the way
all the way this year.
Beat'em Bucs!!

Once more with feeling...

Going all the way to what? The end of the season in late September I guess? They sure aren't gonna make the playoffs at this rate. They may not even avoid 100 losses.

Hey Flea: "Whoosh!"
In all fairness, that fight song goes back pretty far.
I know I'll give in and start watching them soon no matter what. But right now I can't take it.

Duke pitched well tonight in front of 34,000 strong on Jason Bay bobblehead night at PNC. 7 innings pitched with only 1 run given up. He looked strong tonight and maybe, maybe that's the thing the Buccos needed to get them motivated as a pitching staff to get things moving together.
LET'S GO BUCS!!!

foggy: Pretty good memory jog. How about this- late August 1960. The "Gunner", Bob Prince. The "Possum", Jim Woods. The house band, Benny Bennack and the Iron City Five. The Forbes Field knothole gang. "We had 'em ALL the way!!!" and some time later, "We are Fam-a-LEE"! BABUSHKA POWER!

Aaaah, yes...WE ARE FAM-A-LEE...Brings back memories of Rod Scurry (now deceased), John Candelaria, Jim Rooker, and Dale Berra sharing the peace pipe following games, win or lose...and Dave Parker getting Duracells thrown at him...and Chuck Tanner losing control of the clubhouse...and Enrique Romo taking 30 minutes to throw to 3 batters...and Lee Lacy, Dave Parker, and John Milner passing the doobage...and Jimmy Leyland lighting up 2 packs during the game on National TV during his first year as manager when the Bucs lost 100...
Aaa, those were the days!

i volunteered for fanfest during the 2006 all star game, should be pretty cool. I hope I get a cool job like escorting barry bonds around town, and not shooing away homeless people.
