From what I'm hearing there is going to be a 5k at Shawnee State Park on the 23rd of Dec. The proceeds from the race are going to benefit the family of Brittany Allison, a student at Chestnut Ridge, who is experiencing complications after a liver transplant. More details when I find out more.

The 5k is going to be a run and walk. Medals will be given for 1st-3rd for both the run and the walk by age groups, guys and girls.
There will also be a kids 1 mile run before the race with medals for the winners. age groups are 2nd grade and under, 3-4th grade, 5th-6th
If you have time on the 23rd please come out, all the proceeds go the family. The race is at 10am
