New Softball Alighnment for 2007 & 08

NEW WPIAL SOFTBALL ALIGNMENT FOR 07 & 08

There were more lateral changes in the new W.P.I.A.L. Softball section alignment for the "2007 and 2008" seasons than teams moving up or down in classification. Only four teams moved up in class from the past two years while five teams moved down in class. The there were "18" teams that stayed in the same classification, but moved to a new section.

The biggest change in the W.P.I.A.L. softball landscape was the addition of another section in Class (AA), growing from five to six overall sections.

Here is a look at the new alignment with new teams for each section in bold.
