I think that the seemingly unbeatable Johnstown Trojans have showed their weaknesses here early on in the season by narrowly deafeating Central and by getting knocked off by Beaver Falls. Granted, I do not know how good Beaver Falls is but these very same Trojans were supposed to be leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the LHAC but only beat Central by 2.

BF is very good this year. J-town was more than likely looking ahead to their game with them and got caught by a decent Central team, nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, I wasn't really sure what kind of team BF had. The Trojans are still a good, probably great, team but I think they are slightly underacheiving in terms of where people thought they'd be at this point.

B.Falls is usually tough...J-town's visit to Central's Ritchey's Dairy Arena may be there toughtest road trip of the year. Not that C.Cambria or other LHAC teams in particular might not be better but when their pretty good (and Central is very decent) that is a tough place to win.

Too early to tell about overachieving and underachieving teams...this topic would be better served to be placed on hold till Christmas.

Surely Turkovich had something to do with this loss. From what I read on this site he is the root of all evil.

Cambria Heights is an excellent team and has one of the better players in the area with Ben Vescovi. That boy will be playing Div. I in a few years. I don't think the Bisons are underchieving -- at least at this point. Anybody who expects a fabulous season isn't paying attention to how young the team is. I think the Bisons will dramatically improve as the season goes along if people will give them a chance and quit sniping. Of course, that's just my opinion -- I could be wrong.

ummmm...wasn't that Cambria Hts. first win of the season??? They must have a wicked schedule or have been in a tough tournament. I'm not hearing them mentoned regionally anywhere as an LHAC contender...Johnstown, Central Cambria, Bish. Carroll, and Central are the apparent top 4 teams with McCort, Bedford, and P.Cam. supposedly the best or the rest so unless my sources are way, way off, a home loss to CHts. is not good. Div. I player in the LHAC??? Sorry, their are none.

Hey, I said I could be wrong HR. As for schedule -- of course it's wicked -- but I predict CH will beat some of those good teams -- just like Bedford might. Vescovi? Have you seen the kid play this year? If you haven't, I'd reserve your opinion. Or else does being a moderator impart the power of infallibility?
